The GECO Book Club

The GECO bookclub meets monthly at a member's home.  We select books of interest to those raising gifted children.  For a list of the books selected for the 2006/2007 school year, please click here.  Notice that only the first two books have been selected to date.  What do you think we should read?  email your suggestions to GECObookclub@ArvaMont.com.

Would you like to attend a GECO Book Club meeting?  Then:

  1. E-mail Lynne Bloomfield to RSVPGECObookclub@ArvaMont.comShe will tell you where the meeting will be held.
  2. Read the book (or at least skim it!).
  3. Come to the meeting with one or two discussion points, questions or issues that are relevant to the topic for you and your child/children.

Are you interested in participating in a guided reading of Guiding the Gifted Child by Webb, Meckstroth and Tolan?  The next session will be run in January of 2007.  Click here for more details.  Put yourself on the tentative list now and we will contact you when the class is being organized.
